Looks like Di doing a "Selfie" at the airport. :)

Manky weather today, grey & overcast, the odd flurry of sunshine & humungous dolloops of big mans rain with the odd crack of thunder thrown in for good measure. That being the case, Ikky boy & Hound weren't staying out over long! :)

Managed these though:- "Feld Hase" at work today x2 - A traipse across the old Airfield - Grimlin on some bunker remnants.

Thanks, it`s somewhere the mrs has never been (I think I went as a kid but only remember a caravan park) so we decided to have a drive over.

The black and white one of the Abbey looks very dramatic and I love the sparrow looking over it's domain

Today in Pictures, still on restricted duties so a walk around a wet park was the limit for today, it was raining, so wet flowers was the best as I could manage.

1. A true Geranium.
2. Ransoms(wild garlic).
3. There is a small flock of Bluebells at the top end of the park.
4. If this was scratch and sniff you would smell a sweet earthy smell, enhanced by the wet conditions, (hawthorn)
5. Droplets on a cherry.
6. Who is hiding from the rain.

Would you do a scratch and sniff for me on the bluebells please, pretty please?

What contrasts - monastery ruins, a cheeky sparrow and a Dracula shop! Great pix :)

That raised a question the answer I didn't know, what do bluebells smell like, I have never smelt a bluebell, I know, all these years and never done it. However (showing off now) as bluebells are a member of the Hyacinth family I extrapolate that there will be a closely related smell, and the next time I am in the vicinity of a bluebell I will be on the floor sniffing away.

Bluebells have a 'green' smell to them.
We were never allowed to bring them in the house. If we picked them they had to stay on the window ledge outside...usually in a milk bottle(milk bottles of that era had wide necks and cardboard tops).
Ma said they were bad luck in the house.
