Cremona is a lovely backdrop too with the mix of architecture and colours you get.

Some pictures benefit from having people in them,
especially markets. It gives the 'feel' of the place.....the busyness.
I know when I went to Halifax market hall, the picture that showed it to be busy was better received than the one where I waited for an empty aisle so that the Victorian features could be seen more clearly.

Cremona.....I would give my right arm to be let loose there with a good camera!
You lucky Josser.

Today in Pictures, Hameldon Woods, and the most dense population of bluebells I have come across this year, so its bluebells a Go-Go, and hidden in there somewhere is a dog on the mend.

Lovely fleurs again Dave -they are lasting a long time this year and giving a really good display. Spotted young Bob -nice to see he is starting to have longer and more interesting walks again - I bet he's as relieved as you are that you're back out and about together and wonders what has been going on!

To cheer me up husband took me out into town yesterday evening where an International market was on through the streets -very colourful -lots of pics taken but they'll be for later as they'll take some sorting.
This aft I went for a short walk after a barbecue with friends and took a few pics which are more variations on the theme of Green! Lots of lovely grasses around at the moment and the winter wheat is ripening -the rapeseed field has passed flowering and there are lots of fluffy poplar seeds in the air -drifts of them make it look like it's been snowing!

Sorry to hear about the kitten, Diane.
Lovely photos.

The first set of 10 photos showing the International market which was on through the streets of Cremona at the weekend. Lots of people around and some great stalls and eating places were available from many different countries - there was a nice buzz to the event. (Tomorrow more of the individual stalls).

What a fascinating place to take photos!

Lovely photos.

My friends on FB will have seen -I tried to hand-rear a tiny kitten who was orphened (about 10 days old I think). He was lovely and seemed to be strong but succumbed to a sudden urinary infection after 2 days -I saved him from being attacked by Magpies -gave him a chance after his mother was run-over by the milk-lorry which comes here every day... It was very distressing when it happened as he had been fine and lost the fight in a short time. I held him and kept him warm until he went - so sad. It makes you realise that we are all at the end of a thin silken thread...

That is just so sad Dianne. I hope he is in kitty heaven now where sardines hang on all the bushes and the mice are slow runners.
