I am envious. I knew it was on, but I have been so sneezy and snotty that I didn't go out all weekend.
Been up to see Ma today and the long grass and the blossom has set me off again.

I have just acquired a Panasonic Lumix FZ72. Well, I felt I deserved it. I get so much pleasure from taking pics and then messing with them.
I have been up to Ma's this morning to test out the zoom on it.
Here are some of the pics I took from her back yard.

1) The spire of Cannon St baptist church(circled and arrowed because it is hard to see)
2) Same spire
3) in better detail.
4) the body of the church.
these were taken from her yard on Riley's hill.

Good for you, Margaret! I'm soooooo happy for you that you got yourself an exciting new camera :) You deserve it, and besides, you can't take it with you, so enjoy it now.
This will open up a whole new world for your photography. A pretty good start too.

Thanks Carolyn.....I have other Lumix cameras, but they are all a little bit different.
All I need now is a fine day and a trip to the seaside(I am avoiding trees.....they have something against me right now).
Maybe one day during the week I will do some venturing.

A few more pics with the new camera.
This is Pasha..our elderly moggy.
Taking these pics has made me realise that the windows need a good clean.

I could even see the two flies mating on top of the spire. Fantastico

Never mind the windows Margaret get out using that new camera - it has a fantastic zoom!

Pasha looks like she's just tolerating having her portrait done - you can almost see her thinking - haven't you finished yet...;):D

Nice diverse selection of photos to peruse from everyone again -Jen I'd love to see number 6 of the first set (lady at the train window) in B&W or seppia - really like it!

Yes, you are spot on Dianne. She is an old lady now.....she walked in and made herself at home in the summer of 1999.....she was a juvenile cat then....so she has to be 15 years old.
