Re: Today in pictures
I did try the update, but it created some problems with my system and despite several attempts to try and sort it out I had(eventually) to do a system restore and go back to the old version.
I like the old version anyway. It does what I want it to do.......and it is so easy to use. I think the essence is to have the right sort of picture for what you have in your minds eye.(and you have to accept that sometimes it will work and other times it won't...it is a learning experience) Dianne I think the picture of the hotel(which I manipulated and sent you) is a prime example of what you can do.......and although it is not an improvement on the original, it is a different picture. |

Today in Pictures, an hour around Foxhill Bank, I noticed that despite the sun shinning there was a drop in temperature, to cold for shirt sleeves but too warm for a coat.

Re: Today in pictures
I only found out where Foxhill bank was a couple of weeks ago Dave.
I drove down past Toscos and there was a little car park. The place didn't look up to much so I drove away. It looks a lot better than I though after looking at your photos. Might have another drive down when it's a fine day. |
Re: Today in pictures
I have never been to Foxhill Bank either.
It looks like a great place for an autumnal walk. |
Re: Today in pictures
Dave, question, did I go the right way to Foxhill?
Looks a bit dodgy to park for a while. We must arrange a walk again similar to the one we did on the Bash track. |
Re: Today in pictures
All lovely photos, Dave, although I'm drawn to 9 & 10 because of the patterns of sunlight :)

Re: Today in pictures
The gate in your photo is next to where I parked Dave so I must have been at the right place.
If I had continued over the bridge would I have got to Harvey street, maybe not by car? Is that the Tinker brook next to where I parked for a few minutes? Lived around here for 45 years and still don't know much about the place. I must get off the main roads more often. |

The gate in the picture is not visible from the small car park, you walk a short way over the bridge over tinker brook and its on the right, the path then follows the brook for a while before going behind a fenced off area. |
Re: Today in pictures
Thank you Dave.
I will be having a look around there next week if we get a fine day. I could do with loosing a few pounds from my waist. Maybe able to bend down and get a wet gusset, can't wait. |
