Thanks, It was a wet bit that I stumbled across recently and at the time said I would return for a better mooch, unfortunately there is no path that goes all the way round, however the bits that were accessible, were very reflective despite the rain.

That must be the fishing pond you can see from the top deck of the 152....the one behind the garden centre.

I went along to the Museum at Leyland and they had the old charabanc out so I had a ride round in it.
No.3 A genuine Burnley tram conductors badge, shown by the grandson of the original owner.

No. 4 A working lorry which is not being restored because it has been used in a few TV programs. Drove in by a nice young lady.
No. 5 The tax disc they had to put in the window for the filming.

No. 6 My old favourite, brings back memories.
No. 7, Finally to balance the books, my rose without the creepy crawler.

Never ever bored mate, its all good stuff.

That's the one, I stumbled across it by accident when walking through the dunkenhalgh estate, the woods behind the old factory are called Mill Woods and I didn't realise it was the same reservoir you can see from the road, so a second mooch was required. Its on the list of "snowy scenes" to photograph if and when it arrives.

Don't worry about the snow ... if you have a shortage we will gladly send you a bunch of ours;) Ah, this brings back memories of last year ... and it's coming soon.

Aaaaaaarrrrrgggghh! No.....please.....no snow!
I hate the stuff. I worry about Ma.....about getting up to her house with the provin......and getting back down the hill in one piece.
Old hips take a long time to mend.
Eric, you can keep your snow. Your authorities seem much more adept at coping with the effects it has.

Just send us a little bit Eric, enough for a light dusting, any more than that and the country comes to a standstill.

I suspect that what we call a "light dusting" is a tad more than you would want.;)

A bit like the dusting you get round your cake if you eat somewhere a bit swanky.

So Greggs doesn't count then?

Not been to Greggs for years, do they still do 5 sausage rolls for £1.

I don't know......I only go in to get oven bottoms for himself......I don't succumb to their baked goods.

Today in Pictures, a while since my last visit, Haworth Park.

1. Its always good to start off with a bit of innuendo, so here's my conkers.
2. The gallery tends to get into most photos.
3. Looking over the colourful Autumnal scene, Moleside in the distance and the Coppice out of view on the left.
4. The gallery dominated with an out of place eucalyptus tree.
5. Its lucky I was carrying some decorators stilts for this shot.
6. The gallery is often snapped from this location.
7. As the Summer becomes a memory the roses throw up the last few blooms.
8. It gets easier with time.
9. Behind those trees used to be Hilltop Home for the Elderly, now as flat as a Fluke.
10. You don't realise how difficult it is climbing a drainpipe holding a camera until you give it a go.
