Really nice set of pics - 5,6,7 and 8 are equal favourites for me.

Looks like it was a beautiful day but cold - the long walk will have warmed you no doubt Margaret! When did it snow? Love those cheeky sheep and the reflected sky in 10 is beautiful. What was happening on the water - some kind of sponsored paddle?

I am playing catch up on this thread.......had no internet for the past two weeks.

It was cold but I had my three layer jacket on and it kept me toasty warm......but I did get very wet and muddy at one point(walking around the reservoir there is no shelter at all).
It was the Canoe clubs Festive paddle.......not for charity...just for fun...and a pie and peas lunch.
It didn't snow, it just pelted down some hailstones.

Nice to see your out and about again Margaret and snapping again. It's not easy with all the heavy showers we have had.

yes Frank, having something different to snap is refreshing......different views, new walks.
I have more and I am hoping to be out and about again this weekend if the weather permits........and we are in another new location too......but I am not telling where it is......well, not for now anyway.

3) The village well....no handle on the pump though.
4) About to get a wet bottom.
5) The canalside by the tunnel.

Afternoon spent making pasta - 2 types of ravioli and Tagliatelle to finish off the left-over pasta. The small square ravioli have a braised beef filling and are for Xmas day - the larger ravioli have a butternut squash filling - all delicious and worth the effort. If I remember I will take photos of the finished dishes when I cook them :)

Don't know where it is (guess china or Russia from the buildings), but if I'd been there I'd have took more than 4 pics, if you've more get them uploaded.

Ah well it's one or 'tother, surprisingly, as beautiful as the whole area is and yes I wish I could have taken more pics I was in a rush to see 3 of my grandkids.
Hopefully I'll have more time over the next few days to discover and show you lots more sites.
