I went on a short walk for the first time in ages today (am picking up after a bout of bronchitis) - dusted off my camera but forgot to put in the memory card. The internal memory only holds 8/9 photos on the settings I had... Nothing too exciting but it was nice to get out again after a long pause for one reason or another.

My favourites are no 6 and number 7 which is subtitled "Latest fashion for Adam and Eve" - some new fig leafs ;)

What is it with the bees, we have loads here too. Are they queens looking to establish a new hive or super bees intending to dominate the world?

It's good to see the bees about, after hearing they were in decline.

I don't know.
I had the sheets out drying yesterday and when I brought them in there was a huge fat bee nestling among them.
I captured it very carefully and released it back into the wild.
What do you mean Clayton isn't wild?

Is it just me or do others have problems with the native Silverlight Image Viewer?

We have had a number of small birds viewing the bird box at the back of the house, including cold tits and blue tits.
A pair of blue tits appear to have settled in and are flitting backwards and forwards with nest material. I have been working in the back and they are happily coming and going while I am around.

Their early morning singing is a delight to listen to although it starts at 0530. It could be so much worse, we had a family of magpies out there last year and they would have woken the dead.

Great pics. We have blue tits nesting at the back our our house and I'm hoping to get some pics of them going in and coming out of the box.

Just seen my first butterfly of this year.
Not a great shot......it flew off while I was trying to get a better position.

Today was a trip to check the bluebells, so as you would expect there are a lot of bluebell shots. Spring Wood in the sunshine, for anyone going to look at the flowers, perhaps another week and they will be out more, they are only just starting to flower, so not a lot of blue to be seen. They have put the concrete bases in for the ticket machines, so not much longer now before it costs £1 between 8am and 5pm to park.

Had to have a day off work today to wait in for Mr plumber/gas man (stupid leaky boiler, see pic 1), so we took all three dogs for a walk this afternoon down to the river after he`d been.
