I bet it was a lot cheaper then, at £18 each I won`t be going back again any time soon.

I think it was something like ten bob.....but don't quote me.
It was a very illuminating experience, there were a couple of apes procreating and Nicola asked very loudly what they were doing:eek:

Whilst out detecting on a well known local hill,I came across a bird that kept circling me making a loud eagle like noise....i assumed its nest was near by so i quickly snapped a few shots and left the area.

Green karma for the first person to ID it (correctly) as i don't have the foggiest. ;)

If you were up Pendle, then a good chance it`s a Peregrine Falcon (fastest animal in the world), can`t tell for definite from the pics though as they are a bit small.
The RSPB: Peregrine

Thank you Jen.
Ma's Magnolia tree is in bloom at the moment so there have been a few butterflies (and great stonking bees) in her back yard.
I do like to see them though.....but I only spot the red admirals and the cabbage whites...nothing more exotic than that.

the one that is in the picture in the middle of the nettles it had a partner .. and they were flying around and I did try to get a picture of them together but they were flying too fast and I had a stubborn dog that wanted to go home .. I did get one which you can just about see them .. but a bit blurry .. i'll put it up after midnite ..
