Number 5 for me, you can feel the waxy leaves, glad things are improving.

I climbed out of the back window yesterday and did a disappearing act, I got sent to my room on my return. So where did I go, Hameldon Woods, the Bluebells are at full pelt at the moment, the only disappointing thing, scramble bikes have, and still are as far as I know driving through the blooms and ripping up large drifts. Anyway I found enough to photograph, so as you would expect when you go down the woods to photograph the Bluebells, there are Bluebells and lots of the woods, with just a moistening of a wet bit.

It is good you managed to escape Dave.......think I saw your good lady buying a pair of handcuffs and a length of strong ,so better watch out...either you are in for some bedroom fun or she has the measure of your escape tactics and is going to put a stop to your meanderings.
(I'm kind of hoping it will be the 50 shades of grey stuff....not the lock him up and throw away the key :D)

I have been experimenting with ideas for my cardmaking and because I have been asked to do some wedding cards recently I took these pictures. i have to say the idea wasn't all mine...I saw something like it, but thought I would do my own thing in a similar vein.
I know it isn't green fields, rushing streams or waves crashing on the shore, but for now..... this is all I have.

I can count, its just my memory that I can't count on, I had forgot I had inserted a picture in a reply earlier, so nothing deliberate.

I like that Margaret, the heart shapes shadows made it for me.

Who's a clever girl?

It's your day in pictures whatever you do.

Thank you Russell...yes the heart shapes were what I aimed for...wasn't sure I would get the lighting right, but I think they look lovely......an imaginative picture for a wedding card or even an anniversary.
Not really clever though. I needed the prod of someone else's idea first, to make me do something which is similar(though not exactly the same).
I am pleased with the outcome though.

Today in Pictures, an excursion down to the river.

1.Pendle Hill is ever present on the way down.
2. There are lots of lambs about, although they are larger than my last visit down here.
3. Looking in the direction of "The Nab".
4. The breaks in the clouds are making patches of sun rake over the landscape.
5.Arrival at the wet bit.
6. If it's not wet you are not doing it right.
7. Cock Bridge, and some very big boulders.
8. Passing time stacking stones on the hull of my upturned canoe.
9. There must be some water pressure to move these boulders about.
10. Heading back up the hill, and looking at the rolling green bits.

Thanks. Now that the weather has improved, and the risk of frostbite has passed I am once again dipping it in the wet bits.
