Ilyas on BBC Radio Lancashire

This coming Tuesday (13th of April) evening from six, Andy Bayes is your host for sport where he'll be joined by our very own Ilyas Khan.

Do you have a question for Ilyas?

I will be sending on any questions that are posted on here to Andy Bayes.
and you can listen live by following the link below:-
BBC - Lancashire - TV & Radio

I shall start the ball rolling with "how does it feel to have saved the greatest club in the world"?

Nice one for this thread Loweiy

Are we going to get the pitch up to standard?

Are we going to get the Coppice End developed?

Are we going to get the ground up to standard in the eyes of F.L.,L.C.C. and the rest?

Are we going to get the management duo signed up this year?

Cheers Loweiy

Re: Ilyas on BBC Radio Lancashire

Why has there been no "Official Clarification" as to who actually owns the club? fact that many rumours still persist, cannot be helping us. surely it would be good P.R. to do so?

Re: Ilyas on BBC Radio Lancashire

What is the hold up with the contracts supposedly offered to Bobby Grant & Michael Symes given that they are potentially both free to leave the Club in the Summer?

Have discussions taken place with a view to the make up of the squad for next season e.g. have the Management drawn up a list of the squad they want to keep?

Also is there Budgets already set for strengthening the Squad in the Summer?

We were told funding was in place for the re-development of the Coppice End at the last Fans Forum by the Club with grants which meant it would not cost the Club anything.

It seems to have gone very quiet on this front, Is the project still ongoing or is it likely to be a case of tweaking what we already have?

Is there a Long Term Business Plan for Stanley to become self sufficient?

Re: Ilyas on BBC Radio Lancashire

A note: Just keep this thread for proper Q's to be put forward for Ilyas please, bantered or general discussion posts will be removed, so helps Loweiy to sift out the suggested questions easily for the programme, so only questions to Ilyas allowed on this thread - ta muchy

This is the one question I too would like answered. I suspect if there is an answer to it, it may also cover many of the questions raised by others.

Can/could we as a small club afford/afforded to take the step up to League One considering the troubles we have had on and off the pitch financial and otherwise?

Coleman has been at Stanley for the last ten years and so rightly needs congratulating for the clubs sucess not just this season (FA Cup, JPT, Highest League Position) but also for the Unibond days.
Do you think he is the right man to take Stanley to the next level?

Re: Ilyas on BBC Radio Lancashire

Is it true that if stanley don't have some thing ie plans in place and on the table and seen to be doing something to bring the stadium capacity up to league standards stanley will be exspeled from the league at the end of this season.
