Let's just say the findings of the FIOA aren't likely to made public on here, at least not by Andrewb.

Though I wouldn't be at all suprised if an enterprising local journalist starts asking similar questions using the Freedom of Information Act, regarding the expenses of some councillors, all in the public interest of course.:rolleyes:

I wonder what this will come to be known by?

Hot dog gate?

We'll now know who's going to be Deep Throat.

Having thought about it would it be legal for any details of a persons personal financial affairs without their permission, to be printed on here, It may have been obtained by a person for their use but for that person to reproduce it on here may be a grey area:confused:

Ever since Watergate the media have been keen to label every scandal something or other 'gate'.

Dodogate is an option, but it's a bit hard to de-cyfr if it's meant to read do do, or Dodo, that poor creature who was hunted until extinct.

There's a full time job going for someone, because of having to send out all these pm's, as well as answering the phone.

But who has the "bitter look"? Who is the flatterer? Who is doing the kissing, and who is wielding the sword?

I've always wondered why, in the seventh stanza, it is "each man"; yet in the final stanza, it becomes "all men" .... maybe, in the body of the poem, Wilde shifts his focus from the specific to the general .... oops, I'm rambling again:eek:

It seemed too cruel to use the whole quote.;)

There are standards of decency to be maintained.:D
