The one you sing when a goal has silenced the other side's fans.

Oh yes, that's it, something about 'it's all gone quiet over there'.

Something along those lines.

Hey don't shoot the messenger.

Perhaps the misdirected message I received wasn't a mistake.

Perhaps I was chosen to be the stool pigeon, being an independent observer, to broadcast this 'sensitive' information to the world.

:)

I'm sure that if a close friend of the Labour leader had inadvertently sent a message containing such damning evidence, to someone to whom he was opposed, it would never have seen the light of day. Yeah, right.

Happily not having a mean bone in my body, I'm more than prepared to share what I was sent, as an act of freeing information.

:D

Indeed, decency and probity .... these are at the core of politics:rolleyes:
There is another Wilde one; this could be applied to those who achieve elected office, and discover the joys of expense accts.: "The gods had given me almost everything. But I let myself be lured into long spells of senseless and sensual ease".:D

I hate to picture that, in relation to the hot dog that was quoted in the original newspaper story.

That has got to be the most stupid statement I have read in my life.
Mean bone in your body? You are the most vindictive individual I have ever come across. I fail to understand why you put so much store on the information on someone who you obviously dont like as opposed to the waistful and costly expenditure of the Government and the expenses of the EU representatives who are costing you, as a taxpayer your hard earned money?
Get real and direct your observations to the ones that are costing you a bloody fortune in taxes rather than someone who is costing no more than a train ticket.
Stop posturing and use your obvious wit, or lack of it it, to the problems and costly expenditure that involves us all.

I see that some people still haven't got to the chapters on satire and self-parody, in that great book
'Teach Yourself a Sense of Humour'.

It does not matter if it is a grey area here, is it a gray area in the US where this site is hosted?

The press use the Inormation of Freedom Act all the time, and publish the information obtained.

If it's newsworthy.:rolleyes::D

I have been in meetings this afternoon with the leader of the council. And I feel compelled to tell you that he was in a real mean mood. Something as obviously upset him.
