I've had some good karma and some bad karma about my recent posts on this thread, thank you everyone good and bad. I hoped that I had been able to explain my feelings and beliefs that everyone should be able to do what they want within the law. However I also know that there are some very bad people out there ready to exploit people. I don't want to come across as labouring a point but felt I needed to respond to the people who have responded to me via the karma they sent me with no name attached. So as to this thread, I want people to know that I really do know that the sex industry no matter what has a seedy side and is part of a world that comes across as being exciting and fun but there is an underworld to it that most people wouldn't want to be part of. I've now said my bit about something I know a lot about and don't think I need to comment further no matter what karma I receive.

You are entitled to your opinion which has been outlined quite clearly.
I have strong opinions too.......I couldn't do what sugarmouse does, but if she feels comfortable doing it, then so be it(and at least she is working at something she enjoys)....and I'm sure that during her time doing what she does, she has developed a gut instinct......and knows how to look after herself.

Thank you Margaret, as you might realise this is a subject I feel strongly about and it also reflects what I have experienced professionally with some very young girls, I think I've said enough on this topic so I'll shut up now, I just wanted to put my point across. (Unless someone else in the profession posts on here then I might need to reply at the risk of boring people!)

Have ++ to outweigh the bad. I very rarely leave negative karma. I don't see the point. But ++ is always nice.

Noticed this morning that there was an A board out side the newsagents on Broadway saying the lap dancing club is up for sale....haven't seen the LT so don't know the whole story......and it doesn't seem to be in the online version(or if it is I have had no success locating it).
