3. And here it is.
4. Dappled shade.
5. Checked underneath, and there are none.
6. Bounced of the reserve, but straight back on.
7. Don't know the name of this water, Tinker Brook perhaps?
8. Out the top end, and across the field.
9. Down a path opposite and down the hill, still don't know its name!
10. The stone of Parkin, like the stone of scone, but if you lick it, it tastes of liquorish.

Yes, I am going to try that walk one day soon...when I haven't got the tinlids with me.
I'm sure it must make everything look a bit different ...seeing the world from the other side of the canal.
Oh, and the boys....they must have been teens and there was only one out of the four that was my size! What do they feed boys on, that makes them grow like gangly weeds.
(maybe they had conny muck in their shoes)

Before I post Today in Pictures, I post a couple of photos that I took just as I set off, I have no explanation, but I did cross the road and looked over the bridge expecting a drowned clown, possibly.

Is it me, or is this a bit weird, and who sells this type of shoe ?

Re: Today in pictures

A better question would be 'who wears this kind of shoe?'

Part 1. Today in Pictures, looking for a way to photograph the route I do every day, I thought, why not take photos of where you have been. So to this end I walked backwards all the way around, then it occurred to me if I did the walk in the opposite direction, I didn't have to walk backwards, I could go forwards. Up there for thinking, down there for dancing.

1. Down the road towards the canal.
2. On the canal.
3. Off at Hygiene.
4. On "thash pad"
5. Down through the industrial estate.
6. Towards the main road.
7. Left turn up the road. Note, the cyclist is pursued by the caped crusader on a bike.
8. Up the brew.
9. Over the canal and home.

Part 2 is the "Down town" experience.

Oh, Dave, Nooooooooo! Don't buy them. Bob will disown you for wearing 'flash trash' like that....he'll walk on the other side of the road and pretend he isn't with you:).
