12. I was with a mate, who was the guide, but he didnt know the names of places.
13. It went uphill, we could see Longridge Fell over the wall.
14. Still going up.
15. You can see Pendle Hill fron every location.
16. This was as far up as we went, so dont know where it goes.
17. Moo Cows.
18. Pendle again.
19. Down the lane toward Hurst Green and the car.
20. Stopped the car for this, its an old Roman bridge.

Yes it is, you can see the sign in picture 6 just over the chain over the gate.

I've walked that way a long while since, up the fell to the trig point and back down the same way .(about 8 miles) Very nice walk

Don't think that bridge is Roman, Dave. We visited that area a lot when I was young as my auntie had the post office at Hurst Green. We always called it Cromwell's bridge.

Engineering Timelines - Cromwell's Bridge

You are both correct, I was just repeating what my guide told me. I have just knocked a nail through the end of a 2"x2" piece of wood for when I see him again.

We went up as far as the old house, I think it is something to do with camping, we then hung a left down the lane to the T junction, left again, and eventually back to our start point

Haven't been to Tockholes, that should be interesting, Not sure if I will have any pictures today, I'm a bit delicate, plus its shopping day.
Having said that, I await the pictures with interest as a place I might go myself.
