Can we please keep the photos to a minimum size and about say 5 per day this section is using a lot of server space up fast.
so please cut down
put your photos in rows accross the page not down the page

I have been waiting for this announcement for some time. Doesn't come as a surprise.

Mick, think you might need to post a tutorial on how to do what you ask as some people don't seem to have the knack. On the other hand, I can't work out how they do what they do either!

Do you mean five photos in total per day on the thread or per person?

A new member on a different thread(about the regeneration of the Woodnook area) asked how to post pictures...I posted instructions, and gave a couple of screen shots to help them work out how to post thumbnails.

Yes I saw that Margaret, well done. I asked Frank why his pics always came out in a column rather than row and he didn't know, perhaps he should look at that post and see what he can do.

I know when I first joined I struggled to work out how to post pics as thumbnails....and Len very kindly sent me a step by step instruction list...so I was only repaying the favour.
I can't remember how on earth I posted pics that took up almost a full page... I did, but only the once.

Been playing again - I like this result (below). Can't believe how easy it was.

Anyway - will have to stop playing - my new toy has just arrived!! Only ordered Sunday evening! Can't believe how tiny it is - and it's very RED.
Don't expect anything for a while - I have to RTFM first (read the f....... manual) before I can safely ignore it....

When you get snapping you will have even more pictures to play with on Photoscape.
You will be able to take you new toy out tomorrow and take snaps from the canal bank

I have already done some pics like the one in post 1238...but I have framed mine and I will add stick on metallic greetings messages.

could you please expand on this comment as I always reduce my pictures down to 500kb or less, but I do post more than what you are I think recommending.
Can I still post ten per page in reduced size or are you saying it should now be five ?

I also noticed you havent posted your day in pictures, whats the possibility ?

I will post a little guide later on how to place pics from Flickr when I figured out the size on the bb code so as not to fill the screen or. Disrupt the display of the forum.
