Well I've got to keep myself amused at that time of the night/morning! We went there about five years ago and had a great walk round the waterfall but it wasn't very spectacular as we hadn't had much rain. We then went on to Buttermere and walked round the lake and saw a red squirrel.

Nice cobbles in 4, hope Dianne sees them, she hasn't been online for a couple of weeks.

She is happily posting away on facebook along with several other forum members in a Hyndburn group so she is ok

Those windtwistles are visible from almost every location in the borough, I didn't think they would be so prominent.

They are a bit like Joseph Arnolds (express gifts) in church a blot on the landscape.

I also saw my only red squirrel up in the Lake District. ;) Those wind farm mills are awful - but would you rather have more Nuclear Power Stations? Or get out the EU? Apparently Tony Blair signed a deal which means we have to generate a certain amount of energy from Wind farms under EU law - so now they are putting them up everywhere.
