Re: Today in pictures
Beautiful shots Dianne. Would love to visit the jewellery shop....it appeals to my ideals of 'something different'...when my ship comes in, I know where I am going to spend the money.

A selection of shots showing Santo Stefano in Bologna -amazing old church and ex-monastery which was mentioned by Dante as he visited it in 1284 (I think that was the date!) The brick work was beautiful and the font in one of the cloisters is dated to 730ad! It was incredibly peaceful -only a stone's throw from bustling Bologna center.
If anyone is interested this is a link to show the square and church in my photos!ItalyGuides.it: Piazza of Santo Stefano, Bologna Italy |

Nice arches again, tried the website, and the panoramic tour in full screen is just like being there, apart from the sun warming your bones. |
Re: Today in pictures
Yes, I tried it too and felt like I had been on holiday, but with no packing and no passport control.......the downside...no tan and no duty free:(
