Things must have improved since I had a meal there a few years ago. My meal was lukewarm.

Thanks for mentioning the downstairs disabled loo. If I go there I will remember to take a walking stick and limp.

I took Ma into the Wetherspoons at Eastbourne........I think their disabled toilet used the RADAR key.....Ma has one of these but I still had to ask as she had left it back at the hotel room...along with her purse(a neat trick of hers....only kidding Ma):)

If you go out prepared, then why on earth would you wish to visit a Wetherspoons? Surely such establishments are the Last Chance Saloon..the final refuge of scoundrels, drunkards, junk food addicts and those of a similar ilk...no respectable person would be seen dead in one of these places.

Obviously then, according to your rules, I am not a respectable person...and therefore neither is my elderly disabled mother.

Not that it is any of your business, but my elderly mother needed to use a toilet.......we went in so that she could avail herself of their facilities, while we were there we both had a coffee.......feeling that if we used their toilets then we should make a purchase.

Tealeaf you are getting tedious with your unwarranted criticism of this chain. You have made your views perfectly clear, so why do you have to keep harping on about them?

I am just glad there is somewhere in Accrington where I can be sure that I will not bump into you.

I'm quite sure your mum is both a respectable and a lovely person...so why do you have to drag her round such dives?

Didn't you read my post? If you had, then you quite clearly would not be asking that question.
Just refresh your memory.
My elderly mother(in a wheel chair) needed to use the toilet...we went in so that she could use their facilities. We felt it would be churlish to use the toilet without making a purchase...so we had coffee!

Later in the week we went back and we had food and a drink...at my mothers request

Let me just correct you. Junk food is a five minute microwaved half chicken (with prepacked artificial browning and flavouring), 60 sec spuds and 45 sec green veg all on a 900 watt industrial microwave, standard Wetherspoons fitting.

Yeah, that's junk.
