Yeah, that's junk.

Dunno Cashy...it's a bit like raising the dead or going faster than the speed of light...science tells us it can't be done. Anyway, I'm off down the pub before last call.

Somewhat confused - you have stated that you have visited a Wetherspoons 40 or 50 times and yet on this thread you have heaped scorn and ridicule on anyone else who enters the one in Accrington.
Did it really take 40 or 50 visits for you to decide that you do not like them, or perhaps it is an element of masochism in your psyche?

Well, there ain't no Mrs and as of last week their ain't no girlfriend, either. I don't really ask much of the latter but I do expect my ironing to be done right. What could be simpler? I'd take a dozen assorted shirts, jocks and socks round to her place sunday afternoon and tell her to get 'em sorted while I went down the pub and four hours later was it done? No...I've never seen such a mess in the shirt creases in all my life. Being a patient and open-minded man I tried three times to explain what was needed but did she listen? No way. Moan Moan Moan...she had to go.

So I'll have a break just for a week or so before I get another one as I'm now having to fork out a tenner for seven shirts round the local chinky dry cleaners. It's absolutely outrageous.

Been in today, really nicely fitted out, money well spent, shame they can't get food orders right though! Mine, and the folk on the 2 tables next to me were incorrect when they food arrived, problem is in the kitchen not the staff who take the orders as the receipts are correct. I like the photos and pictures ( even one of our very own David Lloyd in there), decor is lovely and toilets immaculate, will be giving it another chance once it calms down a bit!
