There were bigger problems for the crow that Duke had hold of later on.

Today in Pictures, things have greened up since my last visit, it was Bluebells last time, this time its Summer meadow flowers.

1. The Common Spotted Orchid, although this year on this site not as common as last year.
2. I know this as Cow Parsley, although it does have more names that I care to know about.
3. You wouldn't want that flying up your nostril.
4. A bridge into the world of Buttercups a Go-Go.
5. Now that's a job with risks, is it worth it, just to eat a greenfly.
6. The march of the Bracken Fern continues.
7. I have tried to snap this for two seasons, and finally I find one more interested in eating, than flying away. What is it I hear you ask, well its the Orange Tip Butterfly.........who'd a thought it.
8. Ragged Robin, sometimes mistaken for Red Campion, Ragged Robin has more serrated petals.
9. I hadn't come across this before, so looked it up and found it was called Blue Eyed Grass, even though its not a grass, it is part of the Iris family.......you learn some rubbish on here.
10. A drift of Oxeye Daisy with Buttercups and Clover mixed in with the Grass.

Some fine pics there Dave. I have never seen one of those butterflies before. I shall have to keep my eyes peeled.

I have only had fleeting glances before, I think that one is an older one as it looks a bit ragged and is feeding more than the other ones I chased around the field.

Great Shot Margaret. We still haven't managed to get the man on the moon pic yet. Doesn't the moon look a funny distorted shape. I took one whilst the sky was still blue.
