not many tourists where i live, i live just outside a large village about 5km from the coast, so it is mainly Spanish and expats

if thats the case .. im going and camping out in preston ... theyre only having sleet on thursday .. cant even go to grangemouth - they got heavy snow as well but theyre warmer!!!:D:D:D

Think Spring is around the corner. The lodge is now completely de-iced ... the ducks are back, and the Heron plus some new type ducks. There was just one duck that stuck it out .. the white one ... its mates flew off. It was lovely to see him greet them back again ... sure he has a smile on his face ... :)

All in all it's been a mild and gentle winter .... no real bad storms, hardly any freezing rain, only a few brutally cold days .... the only thing I really missed was the sun .... but here, if you have sunny days, you have to put up with the brass monkey weather.

That thunder storm in early hours was very impressive, sods blumming law had to happen as i was in bed and as a nortorious storm fan was gutted she couldnt get to the window nevermind outside :eek: What i heard & saw of flashes cutting thro the night sounded fab.

All this talk of thunder and lightning reminds me of that joke. God sends for Thor the god of thunder, and says to him Thor you've been very good to those people on Earth I think you deserve a reward, get down to the stores and get some modern clothes and go down to earth and have a night out.
