S'orrible 'aint it ..re-cycling collection this morning .. lost my white bag as they put it back under the blue box, which finished up in the road .. :(
Ah well, just know I won't get another, along with a blue bag haven't had for months.

Had to be inventive with the cardboards though .. usually put in bag (can't find a box every 2 weeks !) Held it down with a good old Nori brick .. mmm .. worked .. feel good about that ... :D

Well, Well .... I woke up tis morning.

Rang my mate to ask if my kids could grab a lift to school. He said " Yes course they can, do you know your trampoline is in the back alley " :eek::eek:

Looked out the window, and, there it was...... perched on the fence...hanging into the back alley :o

Woke Ginger up and said " soo sorry to wake you, but the trampoline is in the back alley " :D:D:D

The wind must have been strong though, it's bloody heavy to drag, let alone lift off the floor.

Well we been pretty lucky .. only lost a piece of caravan which lad found around the corner lol... and my peg basket got ripped off line so i think i got off lightly .

bout 2.30 am wind were really bad. could hear someones tin bin bouncing round along with contents and heard a thud but dunno what it were..

hope all survived lol

What i want to know is why is it when its windy my brown bin (garden rubbish) even though its standing next to my green bin (normal) and blue bin (recycling) that the brown bin ends up in the middle of the garden when the other two are still standing at my back door!

Last weekend we had the biggest blizzard of the decade ... 3 days of snow and blowing snow ... about 60 cm of the white stuff and winds up to 80 km/h ... lots of digging out ... could be worse; the good people of Newfoundland and Labradour are in for massive amounts of snow and winds up to 120 km/h. Canada in winter ... you gotta love it.

A gorgeous day ... sunny, +10, (a tad breezy tho') .... snowdrops are starting to pop out ... I think our winter is over .... it has been long and hard (no comments please ladies) with much more snow and bitter cold than we usually get. We have had more Alberta clippers and north easters than normal. There is a lot of open water on the lake, and you can hear the ice breaking up at night.

A beautiful day! Finally it is starting to warm up a little. Still only around 5 or 6 for a daytime high, but the sun is out and the snow is almost gone. Only problem is that the skunks are on the prowl at night ... and you don't want to startle one of those little guys.:eek:
