I'm surprised that there's nothing on the web, apart from Twitter, about us beating Peter Murphy's Wigan U23s 3-1 away to reach the semi-finals of the Lancashire Senior Cup, with goals from Matty Carson, Josh Woods and Lewis Mansell. Blackpool are also through, after beating Everton away. PNE and Liverpool are yet to play, as are Bolton and Burnley.

This is just my assumption mind, I have no definitive confirmation to support my view, but seeing how the govt & those "clever" advisors chop & change things hourly it seems the most (Illogical) logical response. ;)

Up here we have had this for a while. It is the size of the crowd that matters not the stadium and if any are in unseated areas it's the 4000 that applies.

For big crowds it's random checks so you won't always be checked and the stewards do not put a lot of effort into it so it is pretty pointless.

It may be different at accy but with most crowds under 4000 I doubt it will happen often but who knows at the moment

Stanley could temporarily reduce capacity to 4000 and avoid this nonsense how when queuing up to a large event do you know the person next to you his jabbed by the time you reach the turnstiles it's irrelevant nonsense, just reduce capacity Andy easier.

I would think that the only game likely to be affected by it is Sunderland in January if it's still on the go. If it works like up here all the clubs did was state our crowds are under the limit and didn't check.

EFL issuing fresh COVID advice to clubs and supporters this coming week one suggestion being clubs should group players together on coaches depending on vaccination status or past infection, and another goalkeeper,s should train separately to avoid risk of postponement,s they fear a real risk of disruption to the season down the line with this new strain. Seems to me the government on past lies and mismanagement know something we don't.

Professional Footballer,s Association chief Mousino who plays for Oxford wants life time bans for any " fan " invading or encroachment on the pitch. He goes on to say what used to be someone coming on and trying to evade stewards in a comical chase has this season worryingly turned into violence and assault,s on players they could be coming towards you wanting a " selfie " or could be carrying a knife totally agree no excuse for encroaching the playing surface. Although if you had gone on Wednesday,s pitch you would probably have drowned.

No problem with that but I’d also not complain about yellow cards for goal scorers deliberately running towards opposition fans to taunt them. Scoring is the best response to fan abuse, but then taunting opposition fans just suggests some players are little better than the idiots in the crowd.

that used to be the case at one time but is now ignored like the keepers 6 second law and taking a throw in from the place the ball went out of play. years ago many kids went onto the pitch at the end of games but most playing the game were not pampered rich idiots in those days.

think morecambe fans might be worried if he does go as there is a good chance of him taking a few of their better players with him at the end of the season. thats if they stay up and fancy a sideways move for more money.

it isn,t stanley or morecambe,s fault that there club has fallen on bad times. same with blackpool at one time. These clubs fans need to show some sort of respect and not vent their anger of how low they feel their club has dropped to places where they are happy to be where they are.

think in this case its all about asperations for their club. its not as if leeds are losing by the odd goal at the moment but are getting hammered and are in freefall. doubt he,d have lasted at any other premier club fighting relegation at the moment. do not know if they have a horrendous injury list though which may have been a get out for him.

As if one of the richest men in the world would let that happen.
He'll top up the lost revenue from ticket sales and shop sales out of his pocket (spending money).
Wages all paid.
He's already said that he wouldn't profit personally from the sale and any profit made would go straight to Ukranian relief charities.
His issue will be the transfer embargo in and out.
All depends how long this humanitarian disaster goes on for.

Don't pretend to know the ins and outs but has he is sanctioned any "sale " agreed while he is means he wouldn't make a penny profit it's a unique scenario and a strange one and apparently season ticket holders can't buy future cup game tickets so potential home games could be empty stadium,s. Also he isn't allowed to put anymore money in wage bill currently approximately £28 million a month I think so it's difficult but someone could get a bargain buy.

Of course you're absolutely right but I don't think there's any "concern" for his "troubles"
Andy simply highlighting the issue from a football perspective.
The "haves" will prevail.
Before any money runs out the sale will be agreed and everyone will move on - footballing wise that is.

Chelsea,s main shirt sponsor suspends it's £40 million a year contract immediately others expected to follow suit.

Re: Bits & Bobs

Let the sale go through get the funds paid into an Escrow Account.
Government can then drip feed funds into the club subject to audit.
No way a club the size of Chelsea will fail on the end of this.
Starve Abramovich of any proceeds.

Re: Bits & Bobs

Chelsea fans reportedly chanting Abrovenich,s name at Norwich last night thick and don't realise what role this mafia type bloke has had in the Putin regime. Government for once IMHO doing something right hope he ends up on his ass, Chelsea will be sold just has long as he doesn't make another halfpenny from them, will they be propped up as before financially doubt it but to me that's a good thing for football in general far to many reliant on " generous " owners.

T5Nike have a 15 year deal worth £900 million and are talking about pulling the plug, last week Abrovenich wanted £3 billion for the club could be an ugly time ahead. Several players 5 I think are out of contract including thier captain not allowed to discuss new deals and under a transfer embargo.

Stanley currently on Radio 4!
Will the new Coley Bar be open and operating tomorrow or is the tent still in place behind the Clayton End?
Meeting a Stanley fan coming up from London and want to let him know where to meet up.

Apologies, just looked on the Fishy site. Should go there first really.

Everything open tomorrow

Coley's for home and respectable away fans (ok term)

1968 suite for those who have paid a fair price

Marquee open as for all; concerned we need "solutions" if we get "big numbers"

Mixing with the prawn butty brigade today, try and wrap up a couple of sarnies for Yonmon at half time:)

So the BBC, in its so so impartial way, decide today to broadcast the Newcastle v Chelsea game.

Meanwhile Ukrainians are being blown to bits by Abramovic’s pal and Yemenis being bombed by Newcastle’s new owner.

Will they update the death rates at half time with the other scores today?

Dont worry Gary Lineker and Danny Murphy will make it all better.

Didn't the compare in Coleys used to bore to death the Turf Moor crowd? Looks now like he's switched his allegiance and jumped on the Stanley band wagon.

The Marquee shut before kick off and did no reopen.

The stewards let you go to it and half time even though it was shut and demand tickets on the way back a few seconds later.

Mr Evans back at Stevenage. They really do deserve each other and will very possibly be enjoying life in the National League next season.

No, he will save them which is more annoying on both counts. Surely there can be no other place that a town and its football club now has nothing in its favour . At least Luton are in the championship play off positions.

I hope the club still uphold the ban.

not sure the defence of being under the weather with drink should wash either. i get annoyed by this boozing being used for bad behaviour at matches as an excuse. about time all clubs refuse admission to anyone they think have had too much to drink or being on drugs. possibly there would be less of these cases if that was the case. too many blind eyes are looking at the condition of fans entering grounds as long as they can walk in.

Does anyone know if the plaques from the old clubhouse got put up in the new bar area? I could not see anything, but maybe they are in the hospitality area?
