Yes, it does. I used to have a weeks holiday mid October(when I was working, that is) and it was always balmy.
You have to admit that over the last few days it is definitely cooler in the mornings and evenings......what you would expect of Autumn.

I have a similar program on my iPad.
I have never used it to look at info on other people's photos though.
Mainly used to recall where or when the photos were taken or if the photo is under or over exposed to see what had I done wrong. I almost always use full manual settings.

On the PC version you just have to put your mouse over the photo and if the infos there it shows it. It`s an add on that`s recommended on another forum I go on, it helps a lot to see settings of a photo you like.

Me too, except white balance which is always set to auto and easily corrected later (if I remember to) and focus which is about half & half depending what the photo is of and which lens I`m using.
Just lately, about 6 months, I`ve had the histogram showing in the corner of the display, helps a lot with getting exposure correct.

I did have a pooch, but have to say I never noticed anyone with a metal detector, but that is not surprising as I get absorbed with what I am doing. The only person I sort of noticed was a chap on a bike who stopped at the outflow to the reservoir, then rode off in the direction of the railway line and the small reservoir.

I was sat on the wall near the park,i'd just arrived, and you (if it was you) and your dog was down near at the farm and the car parks for fishing.
You was rather engrossed in taking your photos (that's what made me think you was a kinda pro),I could see from your actions you was looking for that perfect shot as opposed to randomly clicking.
I seen that chap on the push iron too,I think he shoots rabbits near the railway line :)

Bored this afternoon waiting for the super moon to show I thought I would try a bit of modification to a couple of photos. Normally I just use my camera on manual and try to get the best results. I think a lot of good photos are spoilt by over cooking the contrast or highlighting colours so these are just for fun.

Resizing from Raw hasnt helped either.

The Menai bridge does look really well on A3 paper though.

Re: Today in pictures

I don't take it serious, I have messed about with the software a few times and know how to use it. I normally use the software to edit and convert Raw files. I like to take three using bracket and then merge them to get the best out of them. I bought the software a few years ago. It needs a tripod and remote shutter to get the best out of it, even using mirror up setting to elimate shake.

Re: Today in pictures

It takes too much faffing about to use HDR in general photography, setting up a tripod etc.
Like you, I try to get it right with manual settings. Then cropping down or resizing to post here spoilts them. I've some cracking photos printed on gloss A3 which look rubbish posted here.

No I don't have a flicker account Gpick.
I have membership of two Facebook sites where I post full size files and I do a bit of photography for the Transport museum for their website and some they frame and put in the walls.
I have seen some of my transport photos for sale on eBay by someone who has obviously copied them from the web, I copyright certain ones now.

I have a Nikon Df camera which allows you to enter your email address and also put a copyright mark with your name in a file. It automatically embeds the information on each photo I take. With exif software it shows up but not on the actual photograph.
