I want to ask a question and Davemac you can tell me to mind my own beeswax if you want.
Arta poorly Lad....dusta need a nurse to come and collymoddle thee?
Or are your camera's bust? What all of 'em?
I have missed seeing your ramblings and the nature changes in our local flora.

If you are off your legs...I still have connections in the nursing fraternity...or better still I could come and do your bed bath myself :)

Thanks for the concern Mrs P. one way and another I have used up my green shield stamps with the N.H.S. My wife was getting ready for a hip replacement, perching stool and frame around the toilet all in place, then the operation was cancelled.........twice(theater technicalities), then I had to go in as a day patient for a frozen shoulder, manipulation under anesthetic, then the only bright spot on the horizon, my little tinker gave birth to a boy last Friday. Slightly complicated with her waters breaking on Wednesday night, this put dads taxi on red alert for contractions, if they didn't happen then a 6 am(Thursday) report to Burnley General for monitoring, before being sent home, this happened again the following day before an inducement was required due to distress. Waiting for a call for immediate scrambling to defcon 3 meant I didn't go to bed after the previous Tuesday until Friday night. So that is it in a large nutshell, all the above was compressed into the month of December.
So as you will appreciate not much of a window for my playtime, I can only hope things take a turn towards a more relaxed new year, but thanks again for the concern, and at the first opportunity I hope to make a break for the wide open spaces and put the results on here, Merry Christmas and a new year that is pleasant for us all.

Blooming heck. I thought I had a plateful, but you have two dinner plates and a side plateful.
Congratulations on becoming a G thingy(I really didn't appreciate my foray into the world of G'ness. It was never on my 'to do' list...well being 14 in my head it wouldn't)
As for the frozen shoulder...I hope you are fixed now. Horrible thing to have.
I hope your wife gets her op soon and that you have got all your troubles out of the way for the whole of 2017(a bit like shopping in advance).
I wasn't being nosy(well, perhaps a little)...was just a wee bit worried you were off your legs rather than being kept in at playtime.

Every good wish to you and yours Dave...hope you have a Christmas you can enjoy.

At the time you don't think about it, you just get on with it, its only when you look back you think flippin eck, but back is not the direction we are going, so hopefully we can all look forward to a better 2017, one way or another that's the only direction we have, so make the best of today and lets all have a happy new year, or at least as happy as is possible.

As mentioned elsewhere, we were down south trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to find a white snowy Christmas! Despite all that, we had a few photo opportunities of which I'll be posting the next couple of days as compilations. :)

So Boxing day we went to Wasserburg am Inn, The river Inn, with an exceptionally low water level (x2) - Wasserburg am Inn - A paddling Mongling (x2) - Marion & Mongy with Wasserburg backdrop.

Tues 27th off to Rottach-Egern by Tegernsee, & up the "Wallberg". The ascent in a "Cable-car" (x3)

Further adventures will be posted tomorrow. ;)

Yes they are beautiful and it is not common to get a ginger tabby female kitten(she is the instigator of all plots by the way...nowt new there then).
The fun and games are in progress right now.
They are madly fighting underneath a blanket...yet in an hours time they will snuggle down in their bed with their arms around each other and angelic smiles on their faces...actually, a lot like children.

Outrageous! How is it you Wimming can get away with that? If any bloke had given their Missus a Birthday card with a cooker, washing machines & hoover on, they' be fighting with the hound for the blanket in the dog house & probably fighting over the food bowl too .... indefinitely! :D

Yes, of course you are right son, but my other half is blooming notorious for spending hours and hours out the back dismantling pallets for burning... So it isn't really a DO it Yourself card, but a DESTROY it Yourself card...he was quite chuffed with it, especially the verse.
And you have no idea how long it took me to stamp, colour and fussy cut those tiny tools out to go on the card.I guess you have no qualms about the shiny bike card then? : D
